ActiveCampaign

The Popup Box plugin can be seamlessly integrated with ActiveCampaign, a powerful marketing automation and customer experience platform. With this integration, every time a visitor submits their information through your popup, their details (such as name and email) will be automatically sent to your ActiveCampaign list.

This makes it easy to:

  • Build and grow your subscriber base.
  • Automate personalized email campaigns.
  • Track leads and manage customer journeys without manual data entry.

Step 1: Navigate to Integration Settings #

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Popup Box > General Settings > Integrations.
  2. Scroll until you find the ActiveCampaign section.

Step 6: Test the Integration #

  1. Open the popup on the frontend of your website.
  2. Fill in your Name and Email fields and submit.
  3. Log in to your ActiveCampaign dashboard → Contacts Lists.
  4. Refresh the list and confirm that the new subscriber has been added.

Best Practices #

  • Always double-check that your API URL and Key are correct.
  • Use dedicated ActiveCampaign lists for different purposes (e.g., newsletters, product updates, promotions).
  • Make the Email field required to ensure valid data.
  • Test your integration after setup to confirm everything is working before launching your campaigns.

That’s it! Your Popup Box plugin is now fully connected to ActiveCampaign. From now on, every submission through your popup will automatically sync with your selected ActiveCampaign list, allowing you to nurture leads and engage with your audience more effectively.
