The Popup Box plugin allows you to integrate with Mailchimp, one of the most popular email marketing platforms. This integration helps you automatically send user data (such as name and email) collected from your popups directly to your Mailchimp audience list.

Step 1: Navigate to the Integrations Tab #
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Popup Box > General Settings.
- Click on the Integrations tab.
- Locate the Mailchimp section.

Step 2: Create or Log Into Your Mailchimp Account #
- If you don’t already have a Mailchimp account, click on the link provided (Account Extras menu) and create an account.
- If you already have an account, log in to proceed.
Step 3: Generate Your Mailchimp API Key #
- In Mailchimp, go to Account > Extras > API Keys.
- Click Create A Key.
- Enter a name for the key (e.g., Popup Integration).
- Click Generate Key.
- Copy the generated API Key.




Step 4: Add Mailchimp Credentials to Popup Box #
- Return to your WordPress dashboard and go to Popup Box > General Settings > Integrations tab.
- In the Mailchimp Username field, enter your Mailchimp username.
- In the Mailchimp API Key field, paste the API key you just generated.
- Click Save Changes.

If everything is correct, Mailchimp will now be connected to your Popup Box plugin.
Step 5: Configure Your Popup to Collect User Data #
- Create or edit a popup (e.g., Contact Form Popup).
- Make sure the Name and Email fields are enabled in the User Data section.
- You can also choose whether to make these fields required.
- Save your popup.

Step 6: Connect the Popup to Mailchimp #
- In your popup settings, go to the Integrations section.
- Enable Mailchimp.
- Choose the Mailchimp audience (list) where collected emails will be stored.
- Save your popup.

Step 7: Test the Integration #
- Open your popup on the frontend of your website.
- Fill in the Name and Email fields.
- Submit the form.
- Go to your Mailchimp dashboard and check the Audience List you connected.
- You should see the new subscriber added instantly.
