MailerLite

The MailerLite integration allows you to automatically add subscribers collected from your popups (such as names and email addresses) directly into your MailerLite email marketing account. This makes it easy to grow your audience and run targeted campaigns without having to manually export and import data.

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations Tab #

1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Popup Box > General Settings > Integrations.
2. Scroll down until you see the MailerLite section.

Step 2: Generate Your MailerLite API Key #

To connect Popup Box with MailerLite, you’ll need an API key.

1. Log in to your MailerLite account.
2. From your Dashboard go to Integrations.
3. Find API in the list and click on the Use Button.
4. Find Developer API in the list and click on Generate New Token.
5. Give the token a recognizable name (e.g., Popup Box Integration) and copy the generated API Key.

Step 3: Add API Key to Popup Box #

1. Go back to your WordPress dashboard.
2. In the MailerLite section of the Integrations tab, paste the copied API Key into the API Key field.
3. Click Save Changes.

Once saved, your Popup Box plugin will be connected with MailerLite.

Step 4: Configure Your Popup #

1. Go to Popup Box > Popups and create a new popup or edit an existing one.
2. Make sure your popup includes at least the Name and Email fields.
3. Enable MailerLite integration for that popup.
4. Choose the MailerLite group (audience list) where new subscribers should be added.
5. Save your popup.

Step 5: Test the Integration #

1. Open your site and trigger the popup.
2. Submit the form with a test name and email.
3. Log in to your MailerLite account and check your Subscribers list.
4. The test contact should appear in your chosen group.

That’s it! Your Popup Box plugin is now successfully connected to MailerLite. From now on, all user submissions through your popups will be automatically added to your MailerLite audience, ready for newsletters, automations, or drip campaigns.
