The Reports section in the Popup Box plugin provides an overview of popup performance data in a clear table format. This makes it easy to evaluate how well each popup is performing and compare results across multiple campaigns.
Viewing Reports #
To access reports, navigate to Popup Box → Analytics → Reports in your WordPress dashboard.
In the Reports tab, you’ll see a detailed table with the following columns:
- PopupBox – The name of the popup being tracked.
- Count – The total number of times the popup was displayed.
- Average Duration – The average time (in seconds) visitors kept the popup open.
- ID – The identifier of the popup, useful for referencing or troubleshooting.
- Read Status – Indicates whether the report has been reviewed by the admin. This is useful for keeping track of which popup performance data has already been checked.
This information helps you:
- Track which popups get the most exposure.
- Measure visitor engagement by monitoring average popup duration.
- Compare multiple popup campaigns side by side.
The Reports tab is designed to monitor popup performance in more detail. While the Statistics section gives you an overview with charts and trends, the Reports table provides a structured breakdown of data for each popup.

- Compare duration with goals – A longer average duration may indicate strong engagement, while very short durations may suggest users are closing the popup too quickly.
- Check regularly – Review reports frequently to identify underperforming popups and optimize them.
- Pair with statistics – Use Reports alongside the Statistics tab for a complete view of popup performance.
- Optimize based on insights – If a popup gets high counts but low duration, consider improving design or copy to hold attention longer.
